Woodshop was never like this!

Logging the north side and garage doors. As you can see from the photo, having the right equipment can make all the difference in giving the home a quality finished look. Karter, my builder, has several 14/16 inch circular saws for working with logs. I have heard some builders use chainsaws to cut the logs to size, this may work for a full log home but in my opinion chainsaws would give a half log home a ragged look at the butt joints. My advice is to find a builder with the right tools.
