The south side of the house is logged and we have moved around to the front. In half log systems the logs are pre-cut in half before they are shipped. The corner logs are cut in half only part-way and the ends are left as whole logs. The corner logs give the house with a full log look. Wilderness Log Homes calls this their InSul-R Log System
