One side logged, three to go.

I am suprised how fast the logs are going up. We had to make certain last minute decisions before the wall could be completed including the exact placement of exterior outlets and lights. We also had to decide how we wanted to log around the windows since there are a couple of different ways to do it. As you can see from the photo we decided to frame the windows with vertical logs which accents them nicely. We also had to decide how we wanted to mount our lights since they could be mounted directly to the logs or onto a cedar trim board which you can see in the photo to the top left of our dinning room window.
