The builder finally got started today. There were times I wondered if we would ever reach this point. According to my construction schedule we were supposed to start framing May 15. As you can see, a month of rain has really put us behind. The funny thing is, I'm so thrilled our log home is becoming a reality that I don't really care were five weeks behind schedule.

The I-joists went up in a day and tomorrow they will put down the Douglas fir, tongue and groove plywood flooring.
