Hope the neighbor's don't mind this beast along the street!

The storage van was delivered today. This will be used to store many of the building supplies that need to be sheltered from the elements, such as interior doors, windows, insulation, hardwood trim, etc. We made sure to get a moving van for storage since it would sit lower to the ground then a regular tractor trailer. It costs $115.00 a month, but was much easier for us then trying to build a pole barn.

The driver, Bob, almost laughed when I asked if he could park it in a flattened grassy area, just south of the driveway. He told me that this thing weighs 13,500lbs empty! Without a bed of compacted rock it would sink to its axles in mud at the first rain. In the end we decided to park it off the side of the street at the turnaround.
