My friend Brad and I (the handsome one on the right) started clearing the property today. I also got help from another friend, Randy, who is not pictured but certainly deserves recognition.

I bought a new chainsaw which I don't think Margaret was too happy about, but as Tim the Toolman Taylor says, no man is truly happy until they own a chainsaw! At heart I'm really an environmentalist, however this deforestation thing was really a lot of fun! I made sure I didn't destroy any spotted owl homes though.
